Abstract

This is a course in formal methods for knowledge representation and reasoning. The following topics are dealt with: (*) Introduction to Knowledge Representation knowledge level hypothesis vs physical symbol system hypothesis (*) description logic and a semantic tableau based reasoning system for it; (*) introduction to modal logic (*) modal epistemic logic for multi-agent systems
